Four and a half stars.
I really enjoyed this film. I loved the way it was a musical, yet not. The rustic, homemade/documentary look was great - added to the audience's ability to connect. The fact that the actors were musicians first made the film real....they performed their music, and therefore didn't have to act. The romantic chemistry was subtle, effective, and touching.
